Role Overview

The RF Testing Operator will be responsible for performing RF testing activities using Network Analyzer's and other RF test equipment. The role involves verifying, measuring, and documenting the performance of RF cables, components, and assemblies as per specified standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and other RF test instruments to perform RF testing (S-parameters, insertion loss, return loss, VSWR, etc.).
• Conduct testing of RF cables, connectors, assemblies as per test procedures.
• Prepare and set up test equipment, calibration checks, and fixtures.
• Record, analyze, and document test results accurately in the required formats.
• Identify non-conformities and report deviations to the supervisor or engineering team.
• Maintain test equipment in good working condition and ensure proper handling.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality processes during testing.
• Assist engineering and production teams during new product trials and validation tests.
• Ensure proper 5S in the testing area.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE in Electrical and Electronics.
• 12 years of hands-on experience in RF testing using Network Analyser's.
• Basic understanding of RF parameters such as impedance, VSWR, insertion loss, and return loss.
• Ability to read test procedures, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Good knowledge of test fixture handling and calibration practices.
• Basic computer skills for recording and reporting test data.
• Attention to detail, good communication, and willingness to learn.
