RF Architect

As an RF Architect at LTST-L&T Semiconductor Technologies Limited in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, implementation, and testing of RF circuits and systems for various applications. Your role will involve working with cellular technologies such as 2G, 3G, LTE, 5G, as well as wireless communication technologies like Wi-Fi, BT, GNSS, mmWave, and NR. You will play a crucial part in designing RF sub-systems, transceivers, RFICs, Power Amplifiers, LNAs, filters, couplers, power dividers, and antennas. Your expertise in RF design and microwave design principles will be essential for analysing system performance and solving RF-related issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop RF systems involving various cellular and wireless communication technologies. - Design RF sub-systems including transceivers, RFICs, Power Amplifiers, LNAs, filters, couplers, power dividers, and antennas. - Optimize design to meet product BOM cost targets without compromising RF performance. - Analyse system level performance and troubleshoot RF-related issues effectively. - Conduct detailed design reviews and drive performance and cost improvements regularly. - Guide engineers in validating designs through prototyping, testing, and debugging. - Responsible for designing and verifying Transmitter and Receiver parameters. - Provide guidance in protocol and radio conformance testing. - Calibrate and optimize wireless interface for performance and quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compatibility and system integration. - Generate technical documentation including design reports, test plans, and datasheets. - Support product certification processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication engineering or a related field. - 10-15 years of hands-on experience in RF/Microwave circuit design and development. - In-depth knowledge of cellular radio standards and regulatory requirements. - Strong RF design concepts and the ability to convert concepts into products. - Proficient in analysing RF issues and solving problems with root cause analysis. - Capable of generating test plans to validate RF performance. - Ability to decide on critical RF performance differentiating parameters for the product. Preferred Qualifications: - In-depth knowledge of RF architecture and requirements. - Experience in design of RF systems, wireless technologies, and antenna design. - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of product regulatory & certification requirements for RF solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Experience in the automotive domain is desirable.,
