Quality Engineer - Automation

As a Quality Engineer in the Issuing Business Engineering Team, your role will involve designing and maintaining scalable automated test suites, enhancing QA frameworks, and ensuring high-quality product releases across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across web, mobile, and API layers. - Collaborate with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality is integrated at every stage of the release cycle. - Execute functional and regression test suites, track issues, and validate fixes. - Enhance and optimize existing QA frameworks and testing processes. - Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, UI/UX, and non-functional aspects such as performance and scalability. - Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in test automation. Technical Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have Skills: - Hands-on experience in test automation across UI, API, and mobile platforms. - Strong programming skills in Java, with the ability to extend frameworks and build custom automation components. - Proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript (mandatory). - Experience with cloud testing platforms such as LambdaTest and Applitools. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter. - Solid understanding of debugging, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. Preferred Experience: - Background in product-driven, fast-paced environments. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Proactive approach with a passion for delivering high-quality software. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality initiatives.
