Quality Analyst

Role Overview: As a Quality Analyst (QA) at Advantal Technologies, you will be a part of a dynamic team that values attention to detail and a passion for software quality. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are recent graduates or have up to 6 months of experience and are eager to learn QA processes in a fast-paced IT environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Translate business requirements into test scenarios and test cases. - Identify and report bugs and errors to the development team. - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure quality standards. - Support regression, integration, and system testing. - Document test results and provide detailed reports to the QA lead. - Stay updated with new tools, techniques, and methodologies in the QA field. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla is a plus. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues. - Effective team player with excellent communication skills. - Previous internship or academic project experience in QA or software testing. - Exposure to basic automation tools like Selenium or Postman for API testing. - Knowledge of Agile methodology.
