QA Manual Engineer

We are seeking a Junior/ Senior QA Manual Tester to join our team in Mohali, Punjab, India. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of web and mobile apps by testing for functionality, identifying bugs, installing databases, and collaborating with the software design team. The ideal candidate should be able to handle challenges effectively and strive to enhance product quality to meet the end-users" expectations. Responsibilities - Understand functional requirements, business cases, and test plans from a business power user's perspective. - Proficient in documentation, especially Software Requirement Specification (SRS). - Analyze bug reports and effectively communicate identified problems for bug fixes. - Validate that all functionalities, designs, and usability aspects are working as intended through business user-level testing. - Document and report test results comprehensively, including steps to reproduce both pass and fail scenarios. - Conduct and analyze tests based on scripted test cases, ensuring the test environment is appropriately set up. - Experience with QA processes including bug tracking, reporting, and documentation. - Communicate test results to the development team, highlighting quantitative and qualitative findings. - Ensure the quality of the final product aligns with end-users" expectations. Requirements - Degree in B.Tech (CSE)/ MCA/ M.Sc (IT). - Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle/ E2E for database testing. - Familiarity with API Testing using tools like Swagger, Postman, etc. - Experience in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript. - Proficiency in Cross-Browser Testing. - Thorough understanding of Agile, SDLC, and STLC methodologies. - Adaptability to project changes and an agile approach towards work. - Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools like Apache JMeter, WebLOAD, etc. - Proficient in test management software. - Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to analyze functional requirements and develop structured test cases. - Attention to detail and analytical thinking skills are essential for this role.
