Role Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by creating, executing, and maintaining manual test cases. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Ensure that testing activities are carried out in accordance with defined standards and processes. Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes.Validate fixes and perform re-testing of the reported issues.
• Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders.

Key requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer, QA Tester, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in writing test cases, executing them, and reporting defects.
• Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to test web applications, mobile apps, and APIs (basic knowledge of Postman is a plus).
• Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Good to have skills :

• Experience in Agile/Scrum development process.
• Exposure to automation frameworks or willingness to learn automation testing.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
