About the Role

QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive
test plans
,
test cases
, and
test scripts
based on business and technical requirements.
Conduct various types of testing, including:

Functional Testing
Exploratory Testing
Regression Testing
Performance Testing
Acceptance Testing
Integration Testing
Component Test Automation

Develop and maintain
frontend and backend automation
frameworks and scripts.
Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality at every stage of delivery.
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Analyze test results, provide insights, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Ensure test environments, data, and configurations are properly maintained and optimized.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Testing Skills:

Strong foundation in
Quality Assurance and Control
principles.
Hands-on experience with
functional
,
exploratory
,
regression
,
performance
,
integration
, and
acceptance testing
.
Experience in
frontend
and
backend automation
.
Proficiency in
test case design

execution

defect management
.

Tools, Technologies, and Frameworks:

Automation & Testing Tools:
Playwright, RestAssured, Postman.
Programming Languages & Frameworks:

Databases:
MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
Performance Testing:
JMeter, Gatling.
Development & CI/CD Tools:
IntelliJ, WebStorm, Visual Studio, Jenkins, Git.
Testing Methodologies:
BDD/TDD using Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Cloud & DevOps Tools:
Azure (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (optional but preferred).
