QA Automation Analyst

The Quality Assurance Engineer, Infrastructure Development, plays a crucial role in ensuring that software products adhere to established quality, reliability, and performance standards before being delivered to customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed test plans and testing strategies that are in line with the overall development approach. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing robust testing strategies, with an emphasis on functional testing requirements. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work on creating comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on software requirements, user stories, and design specifications. Manual testing, particularly for exploratory, usability, and edge-case scenarios (Frontend/API), will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with developers to grasp the application's architecture, design, and functionality. Executing functional, regression, and integration testing to verify that the software meets the necessary quality standards will be essential. You will be tasked with identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, working alongside the development team to ensure timely resolutions. Additionally, developing automation test scripts using tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, etc., will be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in CIS or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both automated and manual testing. A strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is crucial, as is the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with basic Linux commands and hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, etc., is highly advantageous. Your problem-solving and analytical skills should be top-notch, with a keen eye for detail.
