Python + Golang Engineer

As a Python + Golang Developer with 2+ years of experience, you will be an integral part of our growing engineering team based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using both Python and Go. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, write clean and efficient code following best practices, and optimize application performance and scalability. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to team learning, and help deploy services to cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Go (Golang). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and standards. - Optimize application performance and scalability. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and quality improvements. - Work with CI/CD tools and assist in deploying services to cloud environments. - Maintain clear documentation and actively participate in technical discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Python and Golang. - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis. - Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment tools. - Good understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: - Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSockets. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Gos testing package). - Knowledge of security best practices and API rate limiting/authentication.
