Purchase Intern

As a Purchase Intern at Chhapai, a premium print and design company in Chandigarh, you will be supporting the procurement team in various tasks related to purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control in a creative and fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in sourcing and evaluating vendors for raw materials and services. - Support the preparation of purchase orders and vendor documentation. - Coordinate with suppliers to track order status and ensure timely deliveries. - Help maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels. - Conduct basic market research on pricing, material quality, and vendor alternatives. - Provide day-to-day administrative support to the procurement team. **Qualifications:** - Completed a Bachelors degree/diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field. - Freshers are welcome; prior internship experience in procurement/operations will be a plus. - Good communication and negotiation potential. - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. - Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative. - Knowledge of local vendor markets and logistics will be an advantage.
