Project Sales Engineer Automation Lighting Projects

As a Lighting Protocol Automation Engineer, your role involves developing and implementing automated tools for programming, configuring, and commissioning lighting devices across various industry standards and protocols such as DALI, DMX, and Wireless Protocols like Zigbee and Bluetooth Mesh. You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, performance, reliability, and interoperability testing of lighting products. - Automate testing of lighting parameters including dimming curves, color temperature control, light output, flicker, and sensor response. - Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to lighting protocol communication, device interaction, and automation script failures. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lighting consultants, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and fostering strong relationships. - Conduct client meetings, site visits, and progress reviews to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned. - Prioritize client satisfaction through timely project delivery, quality assurance, and proactive communication. - Coordinate with design, technical, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. - Ensure adherence to project schedules and efficiently resolve operational challenges. - Understand and interpret automation system schematics and Bills of Quantities. - Maintain comprehensive project documentation including reports, logs, and records. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation, or related field. - 3-5 years of experience in automation programming with a focus on lighting systems and protocols. - Knowledge of electrical drawings, system integration, and experience in automating tasks involving lighting communication protocols such as DALI, Bluetooth Mesh, and DMX. - Strong stakeholders management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
