Project Engineer

Main purpose of job:

Planning and Post order activities viz. on time project and spare orders execution, coordination with customers & internal departments, coordinating dispatches, coordinating site activities till commissioning, collection of payments.

Key responsibilities

• Meeting organisations annual business targets and work towards the common goal of growth of the companys business
• The responsibility will cover Planning and post order activities, broadly, as mentioned below:

• Internal processes

  :

Receiving technical & cost inputs from various departments, coordinating timely order placement on vendors after clearance from Engineering Dept. amongst others, expediting & coordinating with other departments to fulfil requirement of customers order, monitoring / maintaining project schedule.

• External processes

  :

Timely submission of technical / commercial documents to customer, obtain necessary clearances / approvals / forms, arranging inspections as applicable, ensure timely payment collection from customers, coordinating packing & dispatch of material, site planning, arranging site installations, commissioning & project handing over.

• To work closely with the other departments of the company like Sales, Purchase, Engineering, Customer Support Service, Quality Assurance, Finance & Accounting etc. for achieving organisations objectives / goals
• Conduct weekly project review meetings
• Evaluate, organize & prioritize workload within the schedule.
• Liaise with third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose
