Principal Performance Engineer

In the role of a Performance Engineering Lead at Alkami, you will be responsible for ensuring product releases meet performance criteria for successful deployment to production. Your advanced analytical skills will enable you to quickly identify and resolve complex issues, contributing to the swift resolution of challenges. You will champion rigorous testing methodologies to maintain a high standard of software product quality and lead the formulation and execution of testing strategies that significantly contribute to project success. Your strategic thinking will not only anticipate testing needs but also lead in executing testing strategies that align with project goals. You will spearhead performance-related initiatives, providing critical insights and direction to enhance the overall performance engineering landscape. As a Performance Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of promoting innovation and visionary approaches in performance engineering. To be successful in this role, you should have over 15 years of experience in performance testing, monitoring, analyzing, and tuning web applications and supporting infrastructure in Web and Mobile platforms. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to meticulous attention to detail and a strategic approach to testing. Proficiency in performance or automation framework architecture, CI/CD practices, test management, and agile development is required, along with hands-on experience in developing and implementing performance automation test frameworks and metrics measurements using tools like IntelliJ, VSCode, Git, Visual Studio Team Services, Jenkins, and TeamCity. Your problem-solving abilities and dedication to excellence in performance engineering practices will be crucial in this role.,
