As a Principal Materials Science Researcher at Voltanova, you will leverage your 5+ years of experience in materials science engineering to lead cutting-edge R&D initiatives focused on high-temperature systems. Your primary responsibility will be to drive innovation in advanced material development for thermal energy storage and heating systems, ensuring the intersection of research and scalable industrial applications. In this leadership role, you will lead and oversee all R&D projects related to material development for high-temperature energy systems. By spearheading the design, simulation, and optimization of materials using advanced modeling tools, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of high-performance material systems. Additionally, you will provide technical direction on material selection, performance validation, and failure analysis, collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to translate R&D outcomes into real-world deployments. To excel in this role, you should possess a PhD or Masters degree in Materials Science or a related field, along with a proven track record of at least 5 years in materials research and development, preferably within thermal or energy systems.
