Power BI Developer

As a Data & Visualisation Specialist at Zafin, your role involves utilizing your strong background in Business Intelligence (BI), data analysis, and visualization to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for designing interactive dashboards, performing ETL operations, and delivering actionable insights. Your technical expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Azure Analysis Services, and Power BI will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and manage ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory to ensure seamless data integration. - Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading while maintaining data quality. - Build and maintain data models using Azure Analysis Services, focusing on performance optimization. - Create, enhance, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs. - Write and optimize advanced DAX queries and calculations for dynamic and insightful reports. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive data-informed decision-making. - Ensure data consistency and accuracy through rigorous validation and testing processes. - Effectively communicate insights and updates to stakeholders through clear and concise documentation. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in Azure Data Factory for ETL pipelines and data flow management. - Strong experience in SQL, including query optimization and data transformation. - Knowledge of Azure Analysis Services for data modeling. - Advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX, report development, and data modeling. - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Analytics (a plus). - Ability to work with complex datasets, identify trends, and solve ambiguous challenges effectively. Communication Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Educational Qualification: - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.,
