Power BI Developer

As a Power BI Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining impactful business intelligence solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. Key Responsibilities: - Study, analyze, and understand business requirements for business intelligence purposes. - Design and map data models to translate raw data into meaningful insights. - Utilize Power BI to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports. - Identify key performance indicators with precise objectives. - Analyze past and present data to enhance decision-making processes. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and incorporate them into your work. - Translate business requirements into technical publications. - Develop multi-dimensional data models. - Create comprehensive data documentation covering algorithms, parameters, and models. - Conduct detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts. - Execute DAX queries and functions within Power BI. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - 4+ years of proven experience in Power BI development and data visualization. - Strong grasp of business intelligence concepts and data modeling techniques. - Proficiency in building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. - Experience in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language). - Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Databricks for data processing and integration. - Ability to design scalable and maintainable BI solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture and its integration with Power BI. - Experience with real-time data streaming and DirectLake in MS Fabric. - Knowledge of lakehouses and dataflows within the Fabric environment. - Understanding of semantic models and OneLake implementation. - Experience working with large-scale datasets in a distributed environment. - Exposure to Git integration and CI/CD pipelines for Power BI projects. - Understanding of ISO Standards: Knowledge of relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 27001, and 27701) and their application in the workplace.
