Job Description: PostgreSQL Developer with Java/.NET Programming

Position Overview :

PostgreSQL Developer

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Write efficient SQL queries, triggers, and functions to support application requirements.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate PostgreSQL with

  Java or .NET applications

• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and partitioning.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backups.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong hands-on experience with

  PostgreSQL

  (database design, administration, optimization).
• Proficiency in

  Java (Spring Boot)

  or

  .NET (C#/.NET Core)

  backend development.
• Solid understanding of

  RESTful APIs

  and application-database integration.
• Experience with

  ORM frameworks

  (Hibernate, Entity Framework, etc.).
• Knowledge of

  database performance tuning

  and query optimization.
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  (Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with

  cloud platforms

  (AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, GCP Cloud SQL).
• Exposure to

  containerization tools

  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of

  NoSQL databases

  (MongoDB, Redis) as complementary technologies.
• Understanding of
