Plc Programmer

Role & responsibilities

Understand the process requirement of project and prepare preliminary documents.

• Preparation of IO List as per load/instrument details.
• Interaction with Clients for sequence of operation and other clarifications related to the project/Preparation of flowchart and necessary documents for logic development.
• PLC, SCADA, HMI Programming and Development. Understand the project requirement and develop programs and HMI screens as per application and client requirement.
• Installation & Commissioning of Drives, Automation panels & HMI.
• SCADA designing and networking, supervision for calibration and installation of instruments.
• Preparation of project inspection report and FAT documents as per project requirement.
• Loop checking, Reports, Power on checks & Commissioning of the system.
• Frequent travelling for project commissioning and handing over (SAT).
• Establishing communication to third party devices.
• Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.
• Troubleshooting system errors.
• Testing, Maintaining and modifying existing systems.
• Managing ongoing projects within cost- and time-constrained environments.
• Providing clients with the required technical support for closure of the projects or services.
• Closure of reports and updating to internal team and customer in a timely manner.
• Training sub-ordinates with necessary inputs from basic to advanced development for handling multiple projects as a team.
• Supervising the junior colleagues to ensure the project or services are rendered properly with satisfactory closures.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation industry of similar background.
• Strong PLC, HMI & SCADA troubleshooting abilities.
• Proper background of Educational qualification and experience.
