We are hiring a Oracle EBS Finance Functional for one of our clients' MNCs.

Exp – 8+ years

Location: Delhi/Mumbai

Job Type: 6 months Contract + extendable

Role Overview

An Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Functional Consultant works as the bridge between business users and the technical team. They gather finance-related requirements, configure Oracle ERP modules, provide functional solutions, and support implementations or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis
  • Work with Finance/Accounts teams to understand business processes (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, SLA, etc.).
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle EBS configurations.
  • Implementation & Configuration
  • Configure Oracle Financial modules (General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, etc.).
  • Manage setups, workflows, and approval hierarchies.
  • Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Finance issues.
  • Work with Oracle Support (SRs) to resolve product-related issues.
  • Testing & Training
  • Prepare test scenarios, perform UAT with users.
  • Train end-users and create functional documentation.
  • Integration & Upgrades
  • Collaborate with technical consultants for customizations, reports, and integrations with other modules (Procurement, HR, SCM).
  • Support upgrades or migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud (if applicable).

Target Skills & Competencies
Functional/Domain Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Finance & Accounting principles (Ledger, Taxation, Payments, Reconciliation, Depreciation, etc.).
  • In-depth expertise in Oracle EBS Finance Modules:
  • GL (General Ledger)
  • AP (Accounts Payable)
  • AR (Accounts Receivable)
  • FA (Fixed Assets)
  • CM (Cash Management)
  • SLA (Subledger Accounting)

Technical/ERP Skills

  • Hands-on Oracle EBS R12 experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL (basic for validations & queries).
  • Exposure to integration with SCM/Procurement.
  • Familiarity with personalizations, flexfields, and workflows.

Soft Skills

  • Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between finance teams and IT.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills (since client/user interaction is high).

Qualifications Typically Required

  • Education:
  • CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) preferred, or B.Com + ERP experience.
  • Experience:
  • 8+ years in Oracle EBS Finance (depending on JD level).
  • Full-cycle implementation experience is often mandatory.
  • Certifications (good to have):
  • Oracle Financials Functional Implementation Specialist.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹150,000.00 per month
