Role Overview: As the OTS Tool DBA Tech Lead, you will be responsible for planning, driving, and executing the various tools Roadmap while keeping all stakeholders informed and in sync. You will work directly with dedicated teams to ensure technical roadmap alignment and project delivery as per the roadmap. Your role will involve providing operational support for managed tools and motivating team members to focus on technical development. Coordination with different teams within the Enterprise will be essential to ensure engagement and alignment to support the roadmap. Your technical approach will be hands-on to drive technical solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure availability and uptime of all Tools managed by the team - Coordinate with Infra Teams, Tech leads, and TSMs during maintenance activities for Tools instances - Possess good knowledge of OEM and its Alerting process - Support the team for technical issues in OEM - Plan and execute OEM upgrades and patching to the latest release updates - Consolidate OEM alerts as per DBAs requirements - Maintain stability of OEM OMS server and Agents on all servers - Coordinate with Primary Tech leads on OEM, LRS, and Service Trace activities - Ensure the PBC is working fine and assist DBAs in deploying new steps/procedures for Cloning - Coordinate with LRS printer users for critical printing issues and resolve them on priority - Assist Service Trace team on technical issues and upgrades related to Central Server and Robots - Manage RMAN catalogue DBs to ensure proper backup of all databases - Manage discoverer instances to ensure service availability Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, patching, backup, and restore of Oracle applications & databases - Supporting R12 application & 11g/12C/19c Databases - Strong understanding of database & application architecture - Knowledge of database wait events and tuning undesirable events - Working on ticketing system and tool on production/development EBS Database/Application issues - Hands-on experience in OEM, Service Trace, RMAN, Discoverer Company Additional Details (if present): The company, Emerson, prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
