Oracle APEX / SQL / PL/SQL Developer

As a Software Engineer in the Development department located in Chromepet, Chennai, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX. Your expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development will be crucial in writing efficient SQL queries, developing PL/SQL packages, and optimizing database performance. Your solid understanding of database programming, application development, and performance tuning will be instrumental in your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications. - Write efficient Oracle SQL queries and develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages. - Develop complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Optimize database performance, queries, and PL/SQL code. - Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. - Participate in system design, code reviews, and documentation. - Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and performance. Qualification Required: - Hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development. - Strong knowledge in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. - Experience in performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code. - Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. - Good understanding of relational database design and development. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Good to have: - Oracle APEX integration experience with other tools. - Good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
