OpenShift Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise solutions using

  OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

  .
• Define and implement strategies for

  containerization, microservices, and hybrid cloud adoption

  .
• Design and manage

  OpenShift clusters

  including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Ensure

  high availability, scalability, and performance

  of OpenShift environments.
• Collaborate with

  DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Development teams

  to ensure seamless CI/CD integration.
• Lead modernization efforts including

  migration of monolithic applications to microservices

  on OpenShift.
• Implement and enforce

  security best practices, RBAC policies, and compliance standards

  .
• Drive

  automation

  using Ansible, Helm, Operators, and GitOps practices (ArgoCD/Flux).
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize OpenShift workloads, networking, storage, and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in IT with

  4+ years of architecture and design in OpenShift/Kubernetes

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, CRI-O, Operators, Helm

  .
• Experience in

  Hybrid Cloud / Multi-Cloud deployments

  (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack).
• Expertise in

  DevOps tools

  Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Tekton.
• Hands-on experience in

  Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd), API Gateway, Ingress Controllers

  .
• Knowledge of

  persistent storage solutions

  (Ceph, Portworx, NetApp, EBS, etc.) in OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of

  networking concepts

  – CNI, SDN, load balancers, service discovery.
• Familiarity with

  security tools and practices

  – Vault, SSO/Keycloak, RBAC, OAuth.
• Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Ansible, Shell).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
