Officer-QA Automation Tester

As an Officer - QA Automation Tester - C11- Hybrid at Citi, you will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of banking. With a focus on technology and innovation, we are constantly evolving and changing the way the world does business. **Responsibilities:** - Support initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. - Design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach in collaboration with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users. - Conduct a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation, and audit assignments; report issues and make recommendations for solutions. - Ensure project standards and procedures are fully documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; make recommendations for enhanced documentation. - Monitor products for conformance to standards and processes for conformance to procedures. - Document findings and perform preliminary root cause analyses to provide recommended improvements. - Ensure all corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed. - Verify traceability in project work products. - Gather, maintain, and create reports on quality metrics. - Exhibit a good understanding of procedures and concepts within your technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas. - Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, and provide guidance to new team members. - Perform other duties and functions as assigned. **Qualifications:** - 4 - 8 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience in the Financial Service industry preferred. - Experience in requirement reviews and able to identify, communicate, and document discrepancies. - Understanding of QA within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. - Understanding of Quality Processes. - Demonstrated logical analysis skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. - Proven ability to work to deadlines. - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. - QA experience in defining, designing, and executing test cases.
