Nutanix Administrator - L3

Role: Windows and Nutanix System Administrator

This role needs expert knowledge of the Windows and Virtualized environment. The system administrators who specialize in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based servers. This role encompasses support for business-critical and development-related departments and personnel.

This role requires extensive knowledge of Windows/Virtualized environment and frequently involves both risk assessment and user support tasks. This position also demands the person to work in the manufacturing environment and have a good understanding of the manufacturing process and the applications. He should know the interdependencies of the windows environment, virtual environment and the manufacturing applications.

The goal of this role will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. Collaborate and communicate within a team for projects or initiatives to understand their requirements.

• Install and Configure Windows Servers
• Install and Configure Nutanix environment
• Provide Technical Support and Guidance
• Perform System Maintenance
• Monitor System Performance
• Create System Backups
• Create Documentation

Applied Knowledge and skills

Expert in

• Nutanix Virtualization Product.
• Microsoft Server OS 2012 and 2016.
• Active Directory, DNS, AD Trust, Group Policy, Shell Scripting concepts, practices, and procedures
• OS networking and Network standards
• Lenovo Storage environment and management.
• Must have worked on Manufacturing environment with Virtualization Platform as Nutanix
• He must be a self-starter and be able to work under deadlines.
• He must have good communication skills and must be able to work in a team environment
• Ability to plan, document, install and effectively implement setup across heterogeneous environments
• Proven track record with projects and deploying new technology
• Good writing and documentation skills
