Role Title:

Backend Developer – Node.js

Location:

CL – Gurgaon Sector 18

Mandatory Skills

Node.js

Knowledge of at least one database: MySQL, DB2, Oracle, etc.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend applications.
Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one unified system.
Implement user authentication and authorization across various systems and environments.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure accessibility, security compliance, and data protection in all applications.
Work with messaging systems like Kafka for event-driven architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in JavaScript / Core Java and backend technologies.
Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.
Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks/workarounds.
Knowledge of server-side templating languages and CSS pre-processors.
Basic understanding of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3.
Familiarity with at least one database: MySQL, DB2, or Oracle.
Experience with messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.

Nice To Have

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
