NC Programming

As an NC Programmer at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining NC programs for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and grinding. You will collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize tool paths and machining processes, as well as create and implement tooling and fixturing strategies to improve machining efficiency and quality. Your role will also involve conducting tooling and fixture trials to ensure ideal performance and operation, providing technical support to production teams, and troubleshooting any programming-related issues. Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement activities to streamline processes and enhance productivity, while staying current with industry trends and developments in NC programming software and technology. To excel in this position, you should be proficient in NC programming software such as Mastercam, CATIA, or Siemens NX, and possess in-depth knowledge of machining processes and capabilities. A strong understanding of tooling and fixture design and application, the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are also key attributes for success in this role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 3 years" experience in NC programming within a manufacturing environment.
