We’re looking for a strong MySQL Database Administrator (4+ years) with deep practical experience. You’ll own database performance, schema design, and automation across systems. This role blends light C# API development with serious MySQL tuning and structuring. You should be an expert in MySQL query optimization, MySQL stored procedures, views, backups, and MySQL database design. The majority of this role involves creating complex SQL queries and building Telerik reports using Telerik report designer.

Responsibilities

Create Custom Telerik Reports using Telerik Reprt Designer (Telerik will be taught to you)
Extreme attention to detail. This role is not for someone who can not think outside the box
Design and refine MySQL schemas (InnoDB vs MyISAM, column types, normalization/denormalization).
Build efficient indexes, stored procedures, and views for high-performance queries.
Optimize existing queries s.
Set up and maintain automated data sync between databases (ETL, replication, or script-based).
Work with team on API development in C#/.NET.
Ensure high performance through good DB & table structuring/architecture.
Collaborate with devs and stakeholders to evolve database and service design.
Visualize Data using Domo/Power BI
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Must Have Skills

Excellent English as this position is client facing
MySQL Query optimization & indexing strategies.
MySQL Schema design & column type choices.
Knowledge of InnoDB vs MyISAM trade-offs.
MySQL Stored procedures, triggers, and views.
Ability to design automated syncing/mirroring between MySQL databases.
Solid understanding of MySQL database architecture and best practices.
1+ years of C#/.NET development (APIs, services).
Understanding of the benefits of Domo/Power BI

Nice to have Skills

Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
Python, Node.js

Base Salary Range:₹14–20 LPA
