Plan and conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on Mild Steel (MS) pipes, including methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) , etc.

Review and interpret radiography films, UT results, and other NDT reports to evaluate weld and material integrity.

Prepare and maintain NDT documentation , inspection reports, and ensure traceability of records.

Coordinate with fabrication and welding teams to schedule inspections and explain identified defects or corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with relevant NDT codes, standards, and client specifications during testing and evaluation.

Support third-party inspections and client audits by presenting NDT reports and explaining procedures followed.

Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment and tools as per manufacturer guidelines.

Train and guide site teams and welders on NDT requirements, acceptance criteria, and common quality issues .

Experience:

Prior experience in NDT testing of MS pipes or similar welded steel structures, preferably in fabrication or pipeline projects.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor s degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Mechanical.

Valid NDT Level II certification in relevant methods (UT, MPT, DPT, RT)
