ML Engineer

As a Machine Learning Lead at the company, your primary role will be to lead machine learning projects and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers. You will be involved in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance the In-Flight Entertainment & Connectivity (IFEC) systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial for driving innovation and improving the passenger experience through advanced technological solutions. - **Technical Leadership:** Lead the design and implementation of complex, robust, scalable, and high-performance data-driven systems integrating machine learning algorithms. - **Algorithm Development & Implementation:** Develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics, and data-driven strategies to optimize user experiences and enhance IFEC functionalities. Develop machine learning frameworks, tools, and technologies. - **Machine Learning Infrastructure & Engineering:** Play a key role in architectural decisions related to machine learning infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Design scalable and efficient machine learning pipelines leveraging cloud-based platforms and distributed computing frameworks. - **Experimentation & Innovation:** Explore emerging trends and technologies in machine learning, conduct research, and propose innovative approaches to improve IFEC offerings. Publish technical papers and submit patents. - **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and internal/external stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts and insights to drive project alignment and success. - **Performance Optimization:** Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of machine learning models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to achieve optimal results. - **Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing:** Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the development of a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team. - Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, along with expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data processing technologies. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives, collaborate effectively across teams, and drive projects to successful completion. - Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and a passion for innovation and technology. Ability to write technical publications. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree being preferred. Additionally, you should have 5 to 8 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on data-driven applications and machine learning.,
