Job Description

As a Lean Standards Engineer, your role involves utilizing Lean Standards in your everyday assignments and analysis. This includes tasks such as Line Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, engineering studies, and resource requirement sheets. Your main objective is to provide leadership and support to Continuous Improvement initiatives at the plant level, which includes analyzing work systems, developing standards, and improvements to existing systems. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Lean Standards in everyday assignments and analysis, including Line Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Mapping, Process FMEA's, Control Plans, engineering studies, and resource requirement sheets. - Provide leadership and support to Continuous Improvement initiatives at the plant level. - Develop and update headcount analysis tools to analyze the impact of changes on business. - Prepare engineering studies to ensure operational processes are accurately reflected in operational and strategic calculations. - Measure standard time and work towards reducing standard time and eliminating waste. - Act as the main point of contact for capacity, process improvement tasks, and standard time inquiries. - Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement solutions to meet business requirements. - Manage the engineering function for assigned projects and activities. - Make recommendations and decisions related to the purchase or lease of capital equipment. Qualifications & Competencies: - Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related fields. - Experience in solutions design within a logistics/warehousing/manufacturing facility environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio or equivalent, and Project Management software. - Hands-on experience with supply chain applications such as WMS, TMS, OMS, and SCM. - Experience working and leading multi-cultural teams is mandatory. - Strong fundamental knowledge about Quality Control and its best practices. - 5-7 years of relevant experience. As a Lean Standards Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensuring operational efficiency within the plant. Your expertise in Lean Standards and engineering processes will be key in optimizing work systems and achieving cost savings for the organization.,
