Manager of Software Engineering - Test Automation

As a Test Automation Lead, your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding test engineers in best practices for test automation, conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, and continuously improving test automation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. It will be essential for you to stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in test automation and software testing. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to the test automation team and prepare and present reports on test automation progress and results to stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience. You must also have demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience, hands-on practical experience in delivering deployments, test automation, and execution, proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods, and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. An advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security is required. You should also possess a demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.), in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems, and practical cloud native experience.,
