Manager-Database Architect

As a Manager at EY, you will be responsible for database architecture and management, leveraging your up to 14 years of experience in the field. You will work closely with clients to understand their database requirements and deliver tailored solutions that align with their business goals. In this position, you will need to have a strong technical background in SQL and cloud database solutions (AWS/Azure), along with cross-database understanding. Your leadership skills will be essential in effectively managing and optimizing database systems to support organizational needs, particularly focusing on cloud integration. Your key responsibilities will include executing database projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery, guiding and mentoring team members in database management and optimization, and staying informed about trends in database technologies and cloud solutions to drive service improvements. Additionally, you will provide technical insights for proposals and engage in client discussions to support business development efforts. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with relevant certifications in database management and cloud technologies. Proficiency in database automation and management tools, knowledge of security practices and compliance standards related to database management, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be advantageous.
