Logistics Manager

Warehouse & Logistics Management

• Manage daily warehouse activities, including inward, Dispatch, Storage, picking, and packing, to ensure efficient and accurate processes.
• Managing warehouse staff, delegation of tasks and promoting a positive work environment
• Coordinating with cross-functional departments and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of the warehouse, records, equipment's and facility conditions.

  Inventory Management

• Maintaining inventory levels of required items, such as products, spares, consumables and packing items, conducting monthly stock counts and regular cycle counts, and implementing effective storage solutions to maximize space utilization.

  Transportation Management

• Implementing effective logistics plans, optimizing routes and scheduling deliveries and
  managing transportation budget.
• Negotiating contracts with transportation vendors.
• Coordinate with reverse logistics for timely pickup of goods from sites, repair of faulty goods and reduce TAT.
• Timely submission of transportation bills for payments.

  Compliance and Maintenance of Records

• Ensure E-way bills are generated as per norms with zero tolerance
• Ensure filing the inward & dispatch documents order date-wise with all relevant papers, scanning daily.
• Acknowledgements to be maintained for every dispatch with stamp, signature, date and entity/name of the person accepting the goods.

  Insurance of goods

• Filing of insurance claims, supervising and making sure insurance claims can be processed faster.
• Establish data for insurance renewals.
