Linux Support Engineer

As a Linux Engineer with 2-3 years of industry experience in Enterprise Linux Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux environments. You must hold a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and possess a professional certification in Redhat (RHCSA is mandatory). Industry certifications in System Administration are a plus. Your role will involve providing excellent Linux support, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge in Server & Storage Administration, Virtualization platforms, Backup & DR Solutions, Windows Administration, and basic Network troubleshooting. Your primary responsibilities will include performing system software deployment & upgrades, planning and executing Server Implementation Projects, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and providing onsite/remote support to clients. You must have excellent communication skills to understand customer requirements, provide timely updates to clients, and escalate unresolved issues to internal teams or vendors when necessary. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare reports, KB articles, and document technical knowledge for reference. To excel in this role, you must have a positive attitude, be a good team player, and be passionate about staying updated with new technologies. Constant willingness to undergo training and certification on new solutions is essential.
