Job Description – UX Lead / Senior UX Designer Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced UX Lead / Senior UX Designer to drive user experience strategy, research, and design execution across our digital products. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on design expertise, ensuring that our products deliver intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities1. UX Strategy and Vision Develop and champion the UX vision aligned with overall business goals and user needs. Define and maintain UX design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure brand and product consistency. Promote user-centered design thinking across the product development lifecycle. 2. User Research and Insights Plan and conduct user research to uncover user behaviors, needs, and challenges. Translate research findings into actionable insights, user stories, and design solutions. Advocate for users by ensuring their voices are integrated into decision-making processes. Lead stakeholder discussions and present design research outcomes. 3. Interaction Design and Prototyping Design intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile platforms. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts. Conduct usability testing to validate design choices and iterate based on feedback. 4. Collaboration and Leadership Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, developers, and other designers to define requirements and deliver design solutions. Mentor and guide junior UX designers to ensure design quality. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation. Work effectively within cross-functional product teams. 5. Design Systems and Accessibility Build, maintain, and evolve design systems for scalability and efficiency. Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and promote inclusive design practices. Advocate for accessibility awareness within the product and design teams. 6. Agile & DevOps Alignment Manage design deliverables in agile environments, applying design thinking principles. Utilize Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog, task, and collaboration management. Align with agile processes to ensure timely and impactful design delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field. Proven track record of 8+ years in UX/UI design, with leadership/mentoring experience. Strong portfolio showcasing UX strategy, user research, interaction design, and prototyping. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Deep understanding of accessibility, usability, and responsive design principles. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in agile product teams, with knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira.
