Senior Salesforce Developer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our innovative OWG Tech department. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Force.com platform, including Apex and Lightning Experience and have experience with the Certinia application and APIs. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead development projects that enhance and expand our Salesforce/ Certinia ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development:
o Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce and Lightning components.
o Utilise best practices for code development, testing and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
o Lead development projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
o Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
System Integration:
o Work with Certinia application and APIs to integrate Accounts, Expenses, Invoices, and Revenue modules.
o Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems.
o Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Collaboration and Support:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications and integrations.
o Document technical specifications, design solutions, and integration processes.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Salesforce Developer
Minimum 2-3 years' experience with Certinia Development
Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
Background in leading development projects and mentoring junior developers
Demonstrated capability to work with business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions
Agile delivery experience using methodologies like Scrum or SAFe, and tools like ServiceNow, Jira and Azure DevOps.

o Advanced proficiency in Apex programming, Visualforce development, and Lightning components.
o Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.
o Experience with Certinia application and its API integration capabilities.
o Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
o Proficient in creating technical documentation and user guides.
Analytical Skills:
o Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical requirements and design efficient solutions.
o Ability to optimize and refactor existing code for performance and maintainability.
o Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Communication Skills:
o Candidates must possess full professional proficiency in both written and spoken English
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
o Strong communicator, in both verbal and written form, able to articulate concepts and ideas, break through barriers, engage people, and work effectively with others under pressure.
