Lead JAVA Developer

As a Java Developer at Magic, your primary responsibility will be implementing server APIs and scripts to address complex business and engineering challenges. You will play a crucial role in analyzing and proposing solutions that cater to both functional and non-functional requirements such as scalability, reliability, and extensibility. Magic is currently seeking a Lead/Principal Software Engineer with outstanding technical expertise and a dedication to delivering impactful solutions to become a part of our dynamic team. Your tasks will include managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, as well as designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing product offerings. This will involve working on various aspects such as DBMS, API integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and more. The position demands self-motivation and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement highly scalable, available, performant, maintainable REST API services using Java to support a fast content delivery system - Implement new software solutions and maintain/enhance existing systems - Collaborate with staff members across different functional areas to ensure seamless delivery of development solutions - Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure best practices in scalability, availability, monitoring, and infrastructure - Collaborate with product stakeholders and analysts to refine UI requirements, provide task estimates, and ensure code quality standards - Participate actively in requirements, architecture, and design meetings - Write documentation for internal and external consumption, covering design artifacts, code, and fixes - Perform any other duties as assigned **Skills:** *Expert Knowledge Required:* - Java 1.8 - Core Java, Collection framework, Multi-threading - Design patterns, data structures - Critical analysis, problem-solving, performance engineering - REST API design - Microservice Architecture - Unit Testing / Test Coverage - API Performance engineering *Significant Experience or Knowledge Required:* - Spring/Spring Boot framework - MongoDB - MySQL or other relational SQL databases - Serverless Architecture - AWS Lambda - Continuous Integration/Build Automation - Agile development Join us at Magic and become a valuable member of our innovative engineering team in Noida or Gurgaon!,
