Job Description

As a Data Engineer, your role will involve: - Conducting tests on data pipelines and evaluating results against data quality and performance specifications. - Applying and optimizing data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large datasets. - Communicating and explaining design/development aspects to customers. - Estimating time and resource requirements for developing/debugging features/components. - Participating in RFP responses and solutioning. - Mentoring team members and guiding them in relevant upskilling and certification. Qualifications required: - Bachelors or masters degree The company also values strong development experience in Snowflake, Cloud (AWS, GCP), SCALA, Python, Spark, Big Data, and SQL. You will be expected to work closely with stakeholders, including product managers and designers, to align technical solutions with business goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining code quality through reviews, making architectural decisions that impact scalability and performance, and performing Root Cause Analysis for any critical defects. It is essential to have expertise in Agile, Waterfall Program/Project Implementation and manage strategic and tactical relationships with program stakeholders. In this role, you will need to successfully execute projects within strict deadlines while managing intense pressure. Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) is a must. You will also identify potential technical risks and implement mitigation strategies. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills are highly valued. Cloud Management Activities are also expected, including a good understanding of cloud architecture/containerization and application management on AWS and Kubernetes, as well as an in-depth understanding of CI/CD Pipelines and review tools like Jenkins, Bamboo/DevOps. Demonstrated skills in adapting to evolving work conditions and fast-paced challenges will be advantageous.,
