KDB Developer

As an experienced KDB+ Developer, you will be an integral part of the team, focusing on designing and developing high-performance KDB+/q solutions for market data storage and real-time analytics. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining streaming analytics systems, optimizing existing KDB+ databases, and collaborating with various teams to effectively implement business requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, participate in system architecture discussions, and ensure the high availability and reliability of mission-critical data systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-performance KDB+/q solutions for market data storage and real-time analytics. - Build and maintain streaming analytics systems processing substantial volumes of financial market data. - Optimize existing KDB+ databases and queries for performance and scalability. - Collaborate with traders, e-trading teams, and application teams to understand and implement business requirements. - Work closely with cross-functional teams across the UK and India to deliver robust solutions. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design decisions. - Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical data systems. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of hands-on experience with KDB+/q. - Strong understanding of time series data structures and analytics. - Proven track record of optimizing large-scale KDB+ databases. - Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics. - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders. - Experience working in a global team environment. - Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. - Deep understanding of financial markets data structures and workflows (preferred). Additionally, you are expected to have an advanced knowledge of KDB+/q programming, experience with high-frequency data processing, understanding of database optimization techniques, familiarity with market data systems, and financial data workflows, and knowledge of best practices in data architecture and system design.,
