Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the team on designing, developing, and executing test cases and test plans. You will be tasked with identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs and defects through appropriate tools. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Conducting manual and automated testing on web and mobile applications will be a key part of your role. Additionally, documenting test results, providing feedback for improvements, performing regression testing, and assisting in test automation script creation will be among your responsibilities. It is essential to stay updated with QA best practices and industry trends to excel in this role. To be successful in this position, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A fundamental understanding of software development and testing methodologies is required. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript would be advantageous. Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are key attributes for this role, along with attention to detail and a genuine passion for software quality. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is crucial to thrive in this role.
