Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities:-

1. Java/ JEE development with attitude and capability to quickly learn any new technology

on-the-job.

2. Hands-on coding skills in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot

3. Work on Agile methodology

4. Understanding and knowledge in ABS RAP/RCP & CISL

5. Demonstrates “Think as Owner” attitude.

6. Ready to work on new technologies and tools based on project requirements.

7. Instrumental in providing improvements and innovative solution to improve the business.

Academic:-

Bachelor’s Degree (3/4 years degree) in Engineering/Science or in relevant field

Experience:-

o 7 to 9 years’ experience in Java/J2EE development

o Experience in Spring Boot and Restful Web Services

o Knowledge in Insurance domain

o Understanding and experience of ABS RAP/RCP & CISL is preferrable.

o Experience in Kafka, DevOps, Cloud (Azure Kubernetes), Camunda is preferrable.

o Proficiency with Maven and Jenkins for build automation and CI/CD

o Experience with Eclipse IDE and IntelliJ

o Knowledge in Agile development methodologies knowledge / experience

o Good Communication skills

o Code development and maintenance experience.

o Knowledge in Agile development methodologies knowledge / experience

o Demonstrates good analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.

o Understands and uses appropriate methods, tools and applications.

o Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade the skills.
