Java Software Engineer

As a Software Engineering Technical Lead, your role involves providing technical guidance to Software Engineers, coaching and mentoring them throughout the software development lifecycle to achieve project goals with the required level of quality. You will promote team engagement, empowerment, and motivation among the team members. Your responsibilities include understanding and deriving complexity-based estimations (User Story Points), providing input to the Software Engineering Manager for estimates, resource needs, milestones, and risks. You will define work breakdown structure per account methodologies, plan and lead task execution, assign software engineers to tasks, ensure effective delegation, monitor tasks, identify risks, handle mitigation and escalations, master and execute Scrum ceremonies, and empower the scrum members to enable cross-functional capabilities. Additionally, you will provide hands-on technical and functional input in the design, maintenance, code, build, integration, and testing of complex software components based on functional and technical design specifications. You will review, provide feedback, suggest solutions, including operability perspective, identify areas for automation, follow Truemeds software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies, and release processes. You will also perform code reviews and participate in test reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role. - Hands-on experience in Java coding, Spring-boot, and microservices architecture. - Previous experience in leading software engineers through the project lifecycle. - Thorough understanding of software development methodologies using agile principles and experience in conducting all key agile ceremonies. - 4 years of working experience in projects on Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud. - Working experience on Spring, Containerization, and Automated deployment, for example, Docker, Open shift/Kubernetes, Helm charts. - Working experience on CI processes (Jenkins preferred), version control (GIT preferred), and Artifact repositories.,
