Java Senior Developer AVP

As an experienced professional with 8 to 12 years of systems analysis and programming of software applications, you will have hands-on experience with various technologies including Java, Big Data, Spark, Scala, Kafka, Unix, and SQL. Additionally, you will be proficient in the Spring framework, Microservices, RESTful Web services, and Testing frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber for writing unit tests. Your expertise should also include experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and uDeploy, as well as a good understanding of industry best practices like Design Patterns and Coding Standards. Debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing components should be areas where you excel, along with a solid grasp of SDLC, Agile Methodology, JIRA, and Confluence. Experience in developing cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, and previous experience in the Financial Services industry would be preferred. Your ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes in expectations or requirements will be crucial for success in this role.
