Job Description

Position: Java Architect/Solution Architect

Location: Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore

Experience: As per the grade alignment (minimum is 10 years)

Mandatory Skills:

Design and architect modern backend systems using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices principles.
Defines infrastructure for design and integration of internet computing systems by analyzing information requirements, studying business operations and user-interface requirements, and directing development of physical database.
Determines platform architecture, technology, and tools.
Confirms architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.
Improves architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements.
Build and deploy applications using Docker containerization, following cloud-native best practices.
Work extensively with AWS or Azure services, including MSK (Kafka), EC2, RDS, S3, Redis, and InfluxDB.
Break down complex features into technical tasks and guide the development team through implementation.
Write critical code components and prototypes to establish system direction.
Review code, ensure quality standards, and lead design discussions.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to align architecture with business needs.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team learning and growth.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
10+ years of experience in building Enterprise applications using Java (with 5+ years in architecture and leadership roles).
Solid grasp of microservice design, object-oriented programming, and stateful systems.
Strong unit testing experience with JUnit or similar frameworks.
Experience writing technical specs and mentoring other developers.

Good to have/Preferable :

Domain knowledge of Unified travel booking and expense management platform, Corporate travel management platform
Architect generative AI systems for dynamic itinerary planning, conversational booking assistants, and personalized travel recommendations.
Integrate LLMs and multimodal models into ticketing platforms, chatbots, and customer support workflows.
