IT Functional Operations Manager

Location:

Strategic & Functional Oversight

• Align IT and digital initiatives with business strategy, ensuring technology supports organizational goals.
  
• Define, implement, and manage functional IT operations processes (incident, change, problem, asset, and service management).
  
• Support digital transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and digital innovation.
  

Operational Management

• Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
  
• Monitor SLA adherence and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
  
• Ensure effective governance, compliance, and risk management in IT operations.
  

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor IT operations teams (infrastructure, applications, support).
  
• Work closely with business units to understand operational challenges and deliver digital/IT solutions.
  
• Act as a bridge between IT, digital product teams, and business functions.
  

Technology & Process Improvements

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across IT service delivery and operations.
  
• Implement best practices in ITIL, DevOps, Agile, or other relevant frameworks.
  
• Ensure proper monitoring, reporting, and analytics for IT and digital operations performance.
  
• Support the adoption of cloud, automation, and emerging digital technologies.
  

Security & Compliance

• Ensure IT operations comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO, ITGC).
  
• Implement policies for access control, data protection, and cybersecurity.
  
• Coordinate with InfoSec teams to ensure robust security operations.
  

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage IT operations budgets, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
  
• Forecast future IT requirements in line with business growth.
