Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners,

    biometrics

    , routers, switches, firewall, and other hardware devices.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues across the organization.
  • Perform system upgrades, hardware replacements, and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of all IT hardware assets and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repair, maintenance, and procurement.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes with respect to hardware allocation and recovery.
  • Monitor and manage data backup devices and ensure hardware compliance with IT policies.
  • Ensure security and access protocols are followed for all hardware resources.
  • Provide first-level support and escalate complex issues to relevant IT teams when necessary.
  • Manage and monitor user accounts, permissions, email,

    antivirus

    , and anti-spam solutions.
  • Administer Microsoft 365

    , including: User creation and deletion, License assignment, Outlook backup
  • Generate maintenance reports

    for: Biometric systems, Firewall, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Antivirus
  • Perform and manage regular backups

    of: Server data, Database (DB), CCTV footage
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement new systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their IT-related concerns and inquiries.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years

    of proven experience in IT hardware administration.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and networking concepts.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and backup tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, MCSA, CCNA) are an added advantage.
