iOS Developer

As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, upgrading, and maintaining hardware-integrated iOS applications. Your expertise in Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and Apple frameworks, along with Bluetooth LE (CoreBluetooth), audio/video processing (AVFoundation), and hardware integration will be crucial to the success of the projects. You will collaborate with project managers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver seamless, efficient, and scalable apps used globally in the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include app development using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, ensuring compatibility with the latest iOS versions and various device sizes, and working with real-time audio and video streaming optimized for field technicians. Connectivity integration tasks will involve implementing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication using CoreBluetooth, supporting wired audio input/output for diagnostic clamps, and integrating with Wi-Fi-enabled inspection cameras for video streaming and snapshots. You will follow scalable architectures such as MVVM or Clean Architecture, utilize Combine, Delegation, or NotificationCenter for event-driven programming, and integrate with REST APIs for backend communication. Implementing local storage using Core Data, Realm, or UserDefaults for data handling will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also include profile and optimize app performance, debug and resolve connectivity issues with external hardware, write unit tests, and ensure compliance with Apple App Store guidelines and data privacy laws. Collaborating closely with designers, backend developers, and QA testers to deliver reliable user experiences and documenting technical workflows, API usage, and hardware integration will be essential. Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit, strong knowledge of CoreBluetooth, AVFoundation, CoreData, and iOS frameworks, understanding of real-time audio/video capture, playback, and streaming, familiarity with multithreading (GCD) and concurrency, as well as experience in profiling apps with Instruments and Xcode Debugger.
