Job Description

As a Fabrication Automation Specialist at Siemens Gamesa, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with Fabrication specialists to optimize manual processes and transition them into efficient, automated systems. Your daily tasks will involve comprehending existing workflows and utilizing Excel to streamline operations. Progressively, you'll implement AI/ML techniques to enhance speed and accuracy. Additionally, you will liaise with the FEA and Design teams for valuable insights and guidance, all within a structured 8-hour workday, five days a week. Your success in this role will be driven by your transparent communication and unwavering commitment to understanding tasks thoroughly. Your impactful contributions in this role will include transforming the Fabrication review process into a swift 2-hour operation, developing a systematic methodology for fabrication review, collaborating with FEA and Design teams for insights, incorporating AI/ML techniques to boost process efficiency, conducting self-analysis using student version software, and providing clear feedback on task comprehension. To excel in this position, you are expected to bring 4+2 years of academic experience along with a fresh problem-solving perspective. Your assets will include guidance from professors, access to student version software, and relevant university papers. A keen interest in process automation and innovative solutions, coupled with robust communication skills to engage with diverse teams effectively, is essential. Your commitment to following instructions meticulously and offering transparent input will play a pivotal role in your success.
