Information Technology Network Administrator

The IT Network Administrator role involves overseeing and managing the organization's IT network environment, encompassing hardware and software. You will be responsible for incident and change management, as well as supporting employee on- and off-boarding processes. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of five years of experience in network administration or a similar capacity. Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial. Technical proficiency in network management, system security, and various operating systems is essential. Problem-solving capabilities and customer service skills are also key, with relevant certifications being advantageous. Your responsibilities will include ensuring network availability and quality, collaborating with local teams for repair actions, configuring and updating network and firewall devices, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues, maintaining accurate documentation, enforcing information security policies, managing secure configurations and changes, identifying appropriate technologies for network construction, maintaining IT network equipment in Logistics, recommending network security changes, coordinating maintenance downtime, incident and change management, logistics for IT equipment, and supporting employee on- and off-boarding processes. Requirements for this role include 5 years of relevant experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role, fluency in English, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, exceptional customer service skills, ability to work effectively in a team and under tight deadlines, experience with OSI Model, network protocols such as OSPF, RSVP/LDP, TCP/IP, RIP, VLANs, Port-security, routing, switching, firewalling, ICMP, ARP, Port-security, managing switches and routers, firewalls, cloud networks, AD, DNS, ADFS, DHCP, NPS, CA. Preferred qualifications include experience with Atlassian products (Jira Service Management), virtualization certificates, Windows Server certificates, network infrastructure certificates, ITIL certificates, and other IT-related certifications.,
