Job Description

Industry4 Automation Engineer will be mainly responsible for following tasks

Installation, commissioning and support of PlantConnect for various applications and verticals
Programming of PLC and HMI used as part of PlantConnect
Establish connectivity of PlantConnect RTDAS with various PLCs, smart sensors and other equipment
Configuration of PlantConnect
Interactions with customer engineers related to site setup including hardware, network, cabling etc.
Troubleshooting
Training of users
Documentation related to above tasks
Any other tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications

Diploma / Engineering graduate in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent
PLC, HMI programming courses

Skills

PLC and HMI programming experience of at least one of these brands Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Renu, Delta
Understanding of communication protocols like Modbus, OPC
Basic networking knowledge Ethernet, RS485
Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and reporting abilities
Ability to build rapport with customer engineers and domain users

Experience

1 to 2 years of relevant experience
Work experience in Industry 4.0 projects is highly desirable
